John K. Baldwin
Principal and CEO
In 1995, Mr. Baldwin founded Bridge Capital, LLC, an opportunity fund, financial services company and asset manager that specializes in originating high yield loans, investing in opportunistic assets and providing management services. Mr. Baldwin manages the lending activity of Bridge Capital and is the head of the company investment committee.
Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Baldwin, Bridge Capital has concentrated its growth in Asia and manages affiliated offices in Cambodia, Laos, Macau and Thailand. In addition to making loans, generally in commercial opportunities which are time or value driven, these operations include managing affiliates that are involved in various business opportunities. Mr. Baldwin’s plans for the company include the acquisition and restructuring of at least $250 million in debt and assets in the next year.
Shawn A. Scott
Vice Chairman & Director of Business Development
Mr. Scott has a background in finance, real estate development, construction, and development of gaming opportunities. In 2003, Mr. Shawn Scott became an owner of the company. He is a visionary who sees value where others do not, and understands how to formulate plans that unlock that value. He has been the architect for the revitalization of three horse racing tracks, three casino hotels, and a chain of highway truck stops with gaming machines. Mr. Scott reviews all loan requests pertaining to entertainment or gaming, and guides the Bridge’s investment policies for investing in and lending to emerging market gaming and entertainment opportunities
Mr. Scott has guided Bridge Capital and its affiliates in their investment and lending activities in Cambodia, including the founding of Angkor Capital Bank, a full service commercial bank headquartered in Phnom Penh. He has also been the key planner for Kingdom of Dreams Cambodia, a project within the world-famous Angkor Tourist City Zone, near Siem Reap.

Richard Pipes
Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Mr. Pipes is responsible for the management of the legal and compliance functions of Bridge Capital and its companies. He is also responsible for assets in Guam, Saipan, Thailand, Lao P.D.R., and Cambodia. Prior to joining Bridge Capital, Mr. Pipes was in private law practice for 30 years focused on complex civil litigation, real estate, banking, and corporate transactions.
Roger Slater
Chief Financial Officer
CFO Roger D. Slater is a Colorado and a Guam CPA. He received a BA in accounting from the University of Denver and an MBA from the University of Colorado. He has extensive experience in both financial and general management in a variety of industries including financial institutions, automotive, real estate development and management, hospitality, public utilities and manufacturing.
Sandy Marr
Senior Loan Officer
Mr. Marr has over 16 years of commercial real estate lending experience. Since joining Bridge Capital, he has been responsible for the origination of over $800 million in senior and mezzanine real estate secured debt. He has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate finance including debt structuring, risk and cash flow analysis, underwriting and valuation of most property types. Mr. Marr has a B.S. in Economics/Finance from the University of Nevada-Reno and M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
Richard Moreno
Business Development and Asset Manager (CNMI)
Mr. Moreno holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and practiced law for over 17 years before joining Bridge Capital as Business Development and Asset Manager. His private practice included a broad commercial law practice, including transactions and civil litigation. He is also the co-author of a West-Thomson treatise on community property law and a co-author of a chapter on UCC Article 4A, Electronic Funds Transfers, written for William D. Hawkland's national UCC treatise. Now based in Saipan, he is responsible for assets and transactions in the United States, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, as well as administrative responsibilities.
Jon Anderson
Director of Guam Operations and Loan Officer
After a 48-year career in radio and television broadcasting, Jon A Anderson retired as President of the Sorensen Media Group on Guam in 2006, and joined Bridge Capital, LLC. He conducts government and media relations for the company and manages properties and personnel of Guam affiliates. Mr. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Hawaii. During his career as a broadcast journalist he worked in Hawaii, California, American Samoa, Saipan, and Guam where he worked for 30 years. He has traveled extensively throughout Micronesia, the South Pacific and Southeast Asia.
Mike Sorensen
Project Manager and Construction Disbursement
Mr. Sorensen graduated from University of California-Chico in 1993 with a bachelor degree in civil engineering and minor in mathematics. He started his career working for Guam Land and Realty Development, Ltd. in 1990 performing construction management. He has been with Bridge Capital affiliates since 1996. Mr. Sorensen oversees development of existing projects and provides technical advice on construction disbursements for Bridge Capital’s loan portfolio.
Charles McCallion
Project Manager Laos P.D.R.
Mr. McCallion is the Project Manager overseeing all Lao projects. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Glasglow University in Business Administration. He has more than 20+ years of experience in successful planning and development of commercial and residential real estate projects. Prior to joining the Bridge team, Mr. McCallion developed, planned and opened several large scale entertainment ventures in the United States and the Caribbean. His expertise includes logistics, implementation and marketing of real estate developments, and overall project operations.
Cherie Tan
Chief Administrator, Cambodia
Cherie Tan is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of management experience within the hospitality industry. Mrs. Tan holds a general degree in hotel management and MBA from Charles Sturt University. She is currently acting chief administrator for all Cambodia projects.
Tan Kim Lai
Project Manager, Cambodia
New Business Development ACB
Mr. Tan has been involved in Cambodia's hospitality and tourism industry for over 13 years. He leverages his experience and knowledge of the local business community to direct the development of hotel projects for the Cambodia market and serves as in an advisory capacity for Angkor Capital Bank's New Business Development group.
